Job summary

Consor is seeking an experienced Utility Engineer in Houston, TX to manage utility conflicts, coordinate with designers, utility owners, and contractors, and develop relocation strategies for transportation projects.

The role requires a BS in a related field, a PE license, and hands-on utility coordination experience. You will maintain logs, manage agreements, and help keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil, Environmental or related engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with Utility Coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain utility conflict matrices to manage sequencing.
• Collaborate with design engineers to minimize conflicts and support revisions.
• Draft, coordinate, and manage utility agreements with owners and clients.
• Maintain utility correspondence logs and track due dates and responses.
