Digital Realty is seeking a Sr Manager, Utility Contracts to lead negotiation and execution of utility-facing agreements for large-scale data center projects. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Energy Management, or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience negotiating and managing energy/utility contracts.
• Direct experience with utility service agreements, interconnection agreements, PPAs or similar.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. electricity markets, ISO/RTO, and NERC standards.
• Ability to interpret and communicate provisions in complex agreements.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with data center or digital infrastructure projects preferred.
• Knowledge of FERC, PUC processes; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiation and execution of utility-facing agreements (utility service, interconnection, amendments, and related contracts).
• Coordinate utility-related activities across acquisition, development, energy, and infrastructure teams.
• Organize discussions with stakeholders to identify risks, dependencies, opportunities, and decision points.
• Manage contract timelines, deliverables, approvals, and execution milestones.
• Communicate key commercial, operational, legal, credit, and risk provisions to leadership.
• Track open issues, obligations, dependencies, and action items; escalate risks.
• Maintain records of utility agreements, amendments, compliance, milestones, and commitments.
• Monitor changes in interconnection processes, utility requirements, and regulatory developments.
• Build and maintain relationships with utility providers, consultants, and partners.
• Drive continuous improvement of templates, negotiation strategies, approval workflows, and tools.
