Job summary

You'll coordinate with designers, contractors, and District staff, enforce contract documents, manage cost controls, and guide project delivery from notices to proceed to closeout, while promoting a collaborative, safety‑conscious work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline is required.
• Minimum four years of progressively responsible engineering/construction management experience, preferably in water/wastewater.
• Current Nevada PE certification and ability to reciprocity with Nevada within one year.

Responsibilities

• Leading, managing, and overseeing the construction of multiple projects as part of the CIP.
• Ensuring contractor conformance of construction documents and resolving field conflicts.
• Managing cost controls and project delivery activities for multi-million dollar projects.
• Communicating with contractors, design consultants, District staff, and other agencies.
• Establishing a positive work environment and effective teamwork while mitigating conflicts.
