Job summary

Copperas Cove is seeking a supervisory administrator to manage utility billing and customer service operations. You will oversee records, mentor staff, and ensure accurate payments and billings while maintaining strong community relations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2–4 years of municipal utilities and/or office management experience.
• Two years of related college-level training or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and coordinate accurate records for active/inactive utility service accounts.
• Mentor, train and supervise customer service representatives.
• Oversee payments, billings and adjustments with proper accounting.
• Develop billing expertise and provide back-up support.
• Coordinate meter readings and address billing errors or customer complaints.
• Prepare and review routine and non-routine reports and assist with budget development.
