Job summary

OpenGov, a leader in AI and ERP solutions for public sector customers in the U.S., seeks a Senior Implementation Consultant, Payroll, to deliver fast, smooth implementations using advanced product knowledge and creative solutions.

You will lead end-to-end projects, train customers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize OpenGov value and ROI across payroll, HRIS, and related workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of ERP implementation consulting experience.
• Advanced data analysis and reporting of large financial datasets.
• Experience training customers on software solutions.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Strong communication and leadership to mentor teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation projects for new and expanding customers.
• Serve as primary technical and strategic advisor to customers.
• Analyze requirements and design tailored, automated workflows.
• Develop deep expertise in governmental processes across states.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployments.
• Mentor and train team members to share best practices.
• Contribute to product discussions with customer feedback and requests.
• Coordinate with R&D and Sales to drive delivery efficiencies.
• Own strategic initiatives and support tactical business targets.
