dsm-firmenich is seeking a Senior Technician for our New Jersey site. You will operate and monitor a range of utilities including boilers, chillers, compressors, and cooling towers, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient performance.

You will troubleshoot equipment, analyze data, and coordinate with production to align maintenance with operating needs. A shift pattern includes 12-hour rotations, weekends, and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• NJ Blue Seal Engineer's license and the appropriate water treatment and wastewater licenses when required.
• Minimum of 1 to 4 years of experience in power and steam generation or equivalent.
• Must be able to work a 12-hour rotating shift, 7AM-7PM and 7PM-7AM; weekends/overtime/holidays as required.
• Good math, communication, interpersonal, time management, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Responsabilités

• Operates and monitors Utilities equipment (boiler, chillers, compressors, cooling towers) in the field and from the DCS, troubleshooting and optimizing parameters.
• Maintains equipment through coordinating maintenance needs with production, writing permits, and general housekeeping.
• Record and analyze process data to ensure safe operation within permit limits and take corrective actions.
