Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Sr. Principal Pilot USMC Aviation to join our team. The role will be located at one of several NG locations and involves working with USMC aviation platforms on mission planning tools, training, and interfacing with government personnel.

The ideal candidate has USMC flight hours, mission planning experience, and a DoD Secret clearance. You will brief senior officers, deliver training, and collaborate with engineers to advance warfighter capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD with aviation experience.
• Minimum 500 USMC flight hours.
• Experience in mission planning.
• Experience delivering training.
• Experience briefing senior military officers.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Active DoD Secret clearance (recent or CE).

Responsibilities

• Provide SME guidance to engineers on USMC mission planning solutions, including UI/UX and deployment considerations.
• Conduct briefings and demonstrations to Program Offices, MAWTS-1, TAK community, and other agencies.
• Collaborate with customer pilots for feedback to improve warfighter capability.
• Deliver training and address help desk questions from the USMC pilot community.
