Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Pilot USMC Aviation to join our Orlando, FL team. The role focuses on SME guidance for USMC mission planning solutions and collaboration with pilots to refine capabilities for warfighter operations.

The candidate will conduct demonstrations, deliver training, and provide frontline support to the USMC pilot community, leveraging JMPS, MAGTAB, and ATAK tools in a DoD environment.

Qualifications

• USMC aviation flight experience required.
• Minimum of 500 flight hours.
• Experience with mission planning systems and training deployment.
• Ability to brief senior military officers effectively.
• Active DoD Secret clearance within last 5 years or CE.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME guidance to engineers developing mission planning solutions for USMC aviation platforms (UI/UX, workflow, deployment).
• Conduct briefings and demonstrations to Program Offices, USMC HQ, MAWTS-1, TAK community, and other agencies.
• Collaborate with customer pilots for feedback to improve warfighter capability of NG mission planning products.
• Deliver training and address help desk questions from the USMC pilot community.
