Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Pilot USMC Aviation to join our team at Redondo Beach, CA or other NG locations. The role focuses on SME guidance for mission planning solutions for USMC aviation platforms.

You will collaborate with pilots, deliver training, and help sustain mission planning tools while engaging with senior officers and program offices. Requires USMC flight experience and an active DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 8 years aviation experience; OR Masters' with 6 years aviation experience; OR a PhD with 4 years aviation experience.
USMC aviation flight experience. Minimum of 500 flight hours.
Mission Planning experience.
Experience developing, delivering and sustaining training.
Experience with briefing senior military officers.

Responsibilities

Provide SME guidance to engineers developing mission planning solutions for USMC aviation platforms.
Conduct briefings and demonstrations to program offices and Marine Corps and other government agencies.
Collaborate with customer pilots for feedback on mission planning products.
Deliver training and address help desk questions from the USMC pilot community.
