Job summary

Umicore seeks a Trade Compliance Manager US to drive export controls, sanctions, and customs compliance in the United States. You will monitor US regulatory developments, assess impact on Umicore’s US activities, and collaborate with regional and global teams. The role is based in Raleigh, NC with hybrid work structure.

You will work with EC&S Business Partners and the Global Customs team, supporting license applications and regulatory filings as needed.

Qualifications

5 years of experience in trade compliance, including export controls, sanctions and customs.
Knowledge of US EAR and OFAC regulations and US customs requirements.
Experience in a multinational corporate environment, ideally in industrial or technical sectors.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, International Trade, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.

Responsibilities

Deliver expert work in Trade Compliance for US operations with high quality and timeliness.
Own complex tasks in regulatory compliance, producing accurate outputs and identifying risks.
Monitor US regulatory developments and assess impact on Umicore’s US activities.
Collaborate with EC&S Business Partners and Global teams to translate requirements into practical actions.
Support license applications, regulatory filings, and interactions with US authorities.
