Job summary

ClearView Healthcare Partners in Boston, MA is seeking a Senior Payroll Associate to own day-to-day US payroll operations and drive process improvements within the Finance team. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of payroll experience, strong knowledge of US payroll tax and compliance, and familiarity with UKG.

Responsibilities include managing payroll data, processing hires and terminations, handling I-9 verifications, benefits reconciliation, and supporting annual audits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on payroll processing experience, preferably supporting US payroll from a global or shared services environment.
• Demonstrated experience with US payroll regulations, taxes, and compliance; multi-state experience a plus.
• Experience working with integrated HRIS and payroll systems; UKG proficiency strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain US Employee Data: lead the maintenance and governance of US employee payroll data within HRIS and payroll systems, ensuring accuracy and audit-ready records.
• Processing New Hires and Terminations: oversee payroll components of onboarding and offboarding, ensuring correct setup and final pay calculations.
• Assist with Immigration Statuses and Notices: coordinate payroll implications of immigration status changes.
• Collecting Payroll Data: review and audit input data for bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls; identify discrepancies.
• Payroll Processing: independently process end-to-end payroll for bi-weekly and semi-monthly schedules; perform validations and reconciliations.
• I-9 Verifications: oversee accurate completion and tracking of I-9 verifications in partnership with HR Operations.
• Benefit Administration: reconcile payroll-related benefit activity; coordinate with Benefits and Finance to resolve variances.
• Annual Audit Support: provide data for payroll audits and reconciliations.
• Process Improvement: implement improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Additional Duties: participate in cross-functional projects and system enhancements.
