Job summary

Nubank is seeking a Senior Expert People & Culture partner to establish the US function from Miami. As an IC, you will lead the US HR foundation, design compliant people practices, and collaborate with Legal, Risk, and global P&C centers to scale in a new market.

You will own org design, talent acquisition collaboration, and culture-change initiatives while navigating US regulations in a high-velocity environment. This role offers executive exposure and cross-border collaboration.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in HRBP or broader P&C leadership for US teams.
Strong knowledge of US employment law and multi-state regulations.
Experience with regulated financial services and market entry.
Executive level advisory experience.
Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

Be the strategic partner to US leadership and co-create the people strategy.
Design and implement locally compliant people practices.
Own US employment compliance and risk in partnership with Legal and Risk.
Lead org design and workforce planning for scale in the US.
Partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring strategies for a new market.
Drive the full talent cycle including performance, compensation, and development.
Advise leaders on employee relations and investigations as needed.
Lead change and embed Nubank’s culture in a new location.
Use data to anticipate risks and inform leadership decisions.
Coordinate with vendors and external partners on payroll, immigration, and mobility.
