Nubank is seeking a high-impact People & Culture leader based in Miami to build the US function from the ground up. You will partner with US leadership to shape strategy, ensure US regulatory compliance, and design local people practices aligned with Nubank's global framework.

As the first dedicated P&C professional in the US, you will own talent, culture, and change initiatives, collaborating across Legal, Risk, and Global HR to scale quickly while maintaining strong governance and

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in HR Business Partnering or P&C leadership roles.
• Proven knowledge of US employment law and multi-state regulations.
• Strong understanding of US labor market and compensation in tech/finserv.
• Experience supporting market entry or new office setup.
• Executive presence and ability to influence C-level leaders.
• Experience designing operating models and driving organizational change.
• Builder mindset, able to create structure where none exists.
• Ability to work across time zones with LATAM teams.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to US leadership and co-create people strategy.
• Design and implement locally compliant people practices.
• Own US employment compliance and risk with Legal and Risk.
• Lead org design and workforce planning for US growth.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring strategies.
• Coach leaders on performance, compensation, development, engagement.
• Advise on employee relations and manage investigations.
• Lead change initiatives and embed Nubank culture.
• Leverage data analytics to inform decisions.
• Coordinate with payroll, brokers, EOR and immigration counsel.
• Share US expertise with global HRBP community.
