Job summary

Nubank seeks a senior legal professional to lead M&A workstreams, strategic partnerships, and global contracts. You will negotiate complex transaction documents, manage due diligence, and collaborate with Corporate Development and external advisors. An AI-forward mindset and fast learning are essential in a dynamic fintech environment.

The role is based in Miami with a hybrid schedule, reporting to the Legal Director and guiding cross-functional teams across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

The candidate must hold a law degree and be actively admitted to the New York Bar in good standing.
Experience leading M&A in financial and technology sectors, either in law firm or in-house.
Experience with fintech products and negotiating tech/fintech agreements.
AI-forward mindset with hands-on use of AI tools in legal work.
Strong communication and proactive stakeholder management.
Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a changing environment.
Holistic thinking with a proactive and curious attitude.
Creative problem solving and solid project management.

Responsibilities

Lead legal workstreams for M&A, strategic partnerships, and global contracts.
Negotiate and draft transaction documents; coordinate due diligence with internal and external teams.
Advise on tech and fintech contracts, including Banking-as-a-Service and payments.
Promote AI usage to raise team efficiency and implement innovative processes.
