Job summary

Liberty Blume, a Liberty Global company, is seeking a Senior Manager for US Accounting Operations to join our Denver headquarters. You will lead US accounting, oversee end-to-end close, and partner with UK operations during ramp-up.

Reporting to the Director, US Accounting Operations, you will build a scalable organization, coach accounting professionals, and drive process improvements while balancing control and client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent experience.
• CPA license or equivalent with 7+ years US accounting experience.
• Experience leading period-end close and financial reporting to deadlines.
• Knowledge of internal control over financial reporting and SOX.
• Experience leading transitions and establishing stable delivery.
• Ability to coach colleagues and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong spreadsheet and financial systems capability; automation mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; customer focus.
• Experience managing qualified accountants.
• Experience with ERP, close-management, workflow or finance automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end US accounting operations including period-end close, journals, accruals and reporting.
• Review outputs for accuracy, completeness and policy compliance.
• Coordinate issue resolution and communicate risks and decisions.
• Monitor service performance and implement corrective actions.
• Lead onboarding of new US customers and scale delivery.
• Identify capacity and training needs as volume grows.
• Coach and develop US accounting colleagues.
• Build relationships with customer Controllers and Finance teams.
