Job summary

Brinks Accounting North America seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations in a high-volume environment. You will own the close cycles, ensure accurate financial reporting in US GAAP, and strengthen internal controls across locations.

Responsibilities include partnering with operations and FP&A, driving process improvements, and mentoring a team of accountants. This hybrid/office role offers broad visibility and exposure to global finance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• CPA or MBA preferred.
• 6-10 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in large, multi-location or service-based organizations (preferred).
• Management or supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Oversee accounting for revenue recognition, cost of services, and operating expenses across locations.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses (AP, AR, Prepaids).
• Partner with operations and finance leadership to provide insights and support decision-making.
• Maintain SOX-compliant internal controls and assist audits.
