Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of current RN clinical experience.
• Minimum two (2) years of clinical experience in area of specialty.
• Associates degree in nursing.
• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
• Registered Georgia RN license required at hire and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess health status, set goals, and develop the care plan.
• Documents patient data, actions, and responses to treatment per policy.
• Assists with procedures and monitors patient during and after procedures.
• Leads nursing response to medical emergencies and coordinates care with the team.
• Participates in quality improvement activities and staff training.
• Provides health teaching and counseling to patients and families.
