Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking an experienced Staff Registered Nurse (RN) III to deliver professional nursing care in accordance with Georgia requirements and organizational policies. The role collaborates with the Health Care Team to ensure high quality, safe and efficient patient care.

Position requires at least three years of RN experience, two years in the specialty, and an active Georgia RN license. Travel to two sites (GW, SW, TP) is noted in the notes.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing is required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active RN license in Georgia (or eligible) is required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess patient health status and develop a plan of care.
• Documents patient data and responses to treatment in accordance with policies.
• Administers medications and monitors patient responses during and after procedures.
• Leads and participates in quality improvement activities and departmental training.
• Provides patient education and outreach to patients and families.
• Performs procedures under provider supervision and acts as a preceptor for new staff.
