Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Georgia invites a Staff Registered Nurse (RN) III to provide professional nursing care under an integrated model that centers patients and families. You will collaborate with the Health Care Team to deliver high-quality, safe and efficient care across two sites.

You will assess and plan care, document actions and responses, lead in emergencies, educate patients and families, and participate in quality improvement and staff development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Georgia is required at hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire.
• Minimum three years of RN clinical experience and two years in area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health status using the nursing process to plan care.
• Document patient data and responses according to policies.
• Lead nursing responses during medical emergencies and coordinate care with the team.
• Provide patient education and follow-up calls as part of care coordination.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training.

Education

Associates degree in nursing.
