Kaiser Permanente in Georgia seeks a Staff Registered Nurse (RN) III who provides professional nursing care to patients, members, and families, guided by the Georgia RN Act. You will collaborate with the Health Care Team to deliver high-quality, safe and efficient care.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, documenting data, leading in emergencies, initiating IV therapy, patient education, and contributing to quality improvement.

Qualificações

• Minimum three (3) years of current RN clinical experience.
• Minimum two (2) years of clinical experience in area of specialty.
• Associates degree in nursing.
• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
• Registered Professional Nurse License (Georgia) required at hire.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.
• Preferred: Bachelors (BSN) degree.

Responsabilidades

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess patient health status, determine nursing diagnosis, establish goals, and develop, implement, and evaluate the plan of care.
• Completes POE and addresses care gaps during the patient encounter.
• Documents patient data, actions, interventions, and response to treatment per policies.
• Assists with procedures and monitors patient response during and after procedures.
• Leads the nursing response to medical emergencies.
• Initiates and monitors IV therapy, medication administration, and other nursing procedures as prescribed.
• Provides health education and counseling, and evaluates education effectiveness.
• Participates in quality improvement activities and departmental orientation.
• Acts as a preceptor and mentor for new staff and nursing students.
