Job summary

Veolia seeks a Senior Process Engineer to lead UPW system design for the microelectronics market in North America. You will drive design, integration, and optimization of ultrapure water treatment solutions across sale, commissioning, and operation stages.

The role requires 10+ years in UPW, aBachelor's or higher in engineering, and strong skills in water chemistry, process design, and system integration. Up to 10% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering (Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical) or related with UPW system experience.
• 10+ years of UPW treatment design experience; field ops background acceptable.
• Demonstrated UPW design and operation for microelectronics industry.
• Ability to integrate multiple unit operations into cohesive systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead process design of UPW treatment solutions for microelectronics.
• Characterize water chemistry and establish design basis including reclaim-to-UPW.
• Select unit processes, size equipment, and guarantee performance.
• Apply advanced treatment tech: ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, RO, ion exchange, UV, gas-transfer membranes.
• Own system integration and collaborate with system integrator on complex flowsheets.
• Evaluate operation under design and upset, identify failure points, and support HAZOPs.
• Pilot and benchmark treatability studies as part of design, commissioning, and optimization.
