Job summary

Veolia Group is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead UPW system design for North American customers. You will analyze water chemistry, size equipment, and integrate multiple unit operations to deliver reliable UPW solutions for the microelectronics sector.

The role requires 10+ years in UPW design, strong communication, and the ability to work across bidding, project execution, and commissioning teams. Travel up to 10% within North America is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an Engineering field – Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical preferred, or other technical discipline with a combination of process design and hands-on UPW system experience
• 10+ years of UPW design experience with process design and field operations
• Experience with UPW treatment processes and system design/operation for the microelectronics industry
• Ability to integrate multiple unit operations into cohesive, optimized treatment systems
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the US or Canada, or willingness to obtain licensure

Responsibilities

• Water chemistry characterization and design basis development for UPW systems
• Unit process selection, design, sizing, and guarantees
• Apply advanced treatment technologies (ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, RO, ion exchange, UV) for microelectronics UPW
• Own system integration across unit operations or collaborate with system integrators
• Evaluate operation under design and upset conditions and participate in HAZOPs
