Job summary

Mimecast is seeking an Account Manager, Upper Mid-Market, to own and grow a portfolio of existing customers with 1,500-5,000 employees. The role is hybrid based in Lexington, MA or remote based in Colorado, focusing on upsell/cross-sell rather than net-new prospecting.

You will manage a disciplined pipeline, partner with the Channel Development team, and build trusted relationships across multiple stakeholders to drive incremental revenue using Mimecast products and cloud security know-how.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to independently manage and grow Upper Mid-Market customers.
• Strong commercial acumen with identification of expansion opportunities.
• Understanding of IT, cloud computing, cybersecurity and buying processes.
• Ability to build and sustain trust with multiple stakeholders over time.
• Self-motivated and organized with disciplined pipeline management.

Responsibilities

• Meet upsell and cross-sell revenue targets monthly, quarterly and yearly.
• Partner with Channel Development to build and execute account plans.
• Maintain a disciplined pipeline and accurate forecasts in CRM.
• Build trusted relationships with multiple stakeholders in existing accounts.
• Identify expansion opportunities and sell Mimecast products to drive revenue.
• Collaborate with Customer Success and Support to meet business goals.
• Apply Mimecast's end-to-end sales methodology across portfolio.
• Keep account activity and forecast data current in Salesforce.
