BeEvolved HR is seeking a Repairs Project Manager to identify and plan repairs jobs, assess homes, and create scopes of work considering homeowner needs and funding restrictions. You will coordinate contracts, scheduling, and team activities with Directors and Site Supervisors to expand the number of homeowners served.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience (full time) in residential construction, especially modifications or repairs to older homes.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and the ability to effectively use project tracking software and other technology as required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively relay information to homeowners, field staff, contractors, volunteers, and internal departments.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects, maintain accurate documentation, and meet deadlines with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong planning, problem-solving, and coordination skills, with the ability to adapt to changing project needs and priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct home assessments to identify repair needs and develop clear scopes of work for each project, ensuring proposed repairs appropriately address homeowner needs and are matched with eligible funding sources.
  • Participate in team scheduling and planning for upcoming projects, coordinating priorities, timelines, and resources with the Director of Repairs and Site Supervisors.
  • Work closely with the Director of Repairs and Site Supervisors to plan upcoming projects, coordinate subcontracted work and volunteer events, establish project schedules, and ensure field teams have the information and logistical support needed to complete work efficiently.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for homeowners throughout the repairs process, providing clear information about the planned work, project expectations, and next steps.
  • Ensure homeowners understand and approve the scope of work and that all required paperwork, contracts, agreements, and other documentations are completed and signed before and during the project as required.
  • Supervise the use of project tracking software to maintain accurate and up-to-date project information, including adding new applications, updating job statuses, and recording relevant project activity. Ensure repairs are fully documented through appropriate homeowner paperwork and other required records, maintaining organized information that supports project management and program reporting.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support to field staff as needed to help projects move forward efficiently. Coordinate with Site Supervisors and other team members regarding project schedules, field needs, materials, subcontracted work, volunteer activities, and other logistical requirements associated with upcoming and active repair projects.
  • Work closely with the Director of Repairs to help align repairs program policies, procedures, and project practices with donor requirements and broader organizational needs. Contribute to improvements in project coordination, documentation, communication, and workflow that support an efficient and effective repairs program.
