Black Hills State University in Spearfish, South Dakota seeks a University Registrar to lead the registrar's office, safeguarding student records and enabling accurate registration, degree audits, and transcripts.

The successful candidate will supervise staff, develop budgets, advise on policy and ensure FERPA compliance while serving campus leaders and students across the regental system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Progressively responsible experience in a college or university registrar’s office or closely related academic administration, including experience supervising personnel or leading complex operations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of academic records, registration, curriculum and degree requirements, and student information systems.

Responsabilités

• Establish office priorities, procedures, service standards.
• Supervise staff; assign work and cover critical deadlines.
• Develop the registrar office budget and manage resources.
• Direct management of student records, transcripts, and degree verifications.
• Ensure FERPA compliance and records security.
