Job summary

Georgia’s Own Credit Union seeks a Universal Banker II to deliver exceptional member service and build strong member relationships while supporting branch operations. The role combines advanced transaction processing, account opening, lending, service, and relationship development to help the branch succeed.

You will onboard new teammates, mentor peers, reinforce service standards, and contribute to branch productivity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years in a financial branch or retail environment.
• Able to pass background checks including credit and background screening.
• Experience with loan applications and internal policies and procedures.
• Strong communication and ability to interact with members at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional member service in person, by phone, and digitally.
• Open memberships, process transactions, and support deposits and lending.
• Mentor peers, reinforce service standards, and assist onboarding.
• Support branch operations, sales referrals, and overall productivity.
