Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional technical art experience in videogames using Unity.
• Experience across the full lifecycle of videogame development: concept to launch.
• Strong understanding of perspective, lighting, and Unity render pipelines.
• Proficient with industry-standard art tools listed in the job post.

Responsibilities

• Create and integrate 2D artwork, including layers and parallax.
• Create and integrate 3D models and textures for various assets.
• Create and integrate 2D/3D VFX, materials, shaders and animations.
• Manage cameras, lighting, reflections, and particle effects.
• Optimize visuals for performance and load times.
• Mentor other artists and explain technical art concepts.
• Collaborate with art, design, and narrative teams; document technical art workflows.
• Balance tasks to meet deadlines within project budgets.
