Software Placement Group, SPG, is hiring a Superintendent to lead union commercial/industrial construction projects in the Fort Wayne area. You will ensure safety, schedule adherence, budget control, and client satisfaction on site.

This on-site role requires 10+ years of experience, OSHA 30, lead superintendent on $3M+ projects, and proficiency with Procore and MS Office, with strong communication and leadership skills. A competitive package includes 401(k) match and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial/industrial construction experience.
• Experience as lead superintendent on projects valued at $3M+.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• Ability to read and execute construction drawings/specifications.
• Strong MS Word/Excel skills.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods and materials.
• Ability to follow company policies and standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory and planning skills.
• Comfort with EOS-driven organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead site coordination, layout, access, and logistics to optimize safety and productivity.
• Resolve site conflicts and ensure work meets specifications.
• Maintain look-ahead schedule and coordinate subcontractor readiness.
• Monitor labor/equipment/material usage and flag budget variances.
• Enforce safety compliance and lead incident reporting.
• Represent the company in client interactions and meetings.
• Motivate and support team members through clear communication.
