Job summary

The Hagerman Group is seeking a Project Superintendent for commercial construction in Fort Wayne, IN. You will lead on-site operations, supervise crews and subcontractors, and ensure projects meet schedule, budget, safety, and quality standards.

Collaborating with project managers, architects, engineers and clients, you will monitor progress, maintain documentation, and promote a strong safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• 9 years of progressive field construction experience with at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong reading of plans and specifications with knowledge of multiple trades (mechanical, electrical, etc.).
• Proficiency with PM software (Procore preferred) and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day on-site operations on commercial projects, including scheduling, quality control, and safety compliance.
• Supervise construction staff and subcontractors, ensuring work aligns with design specs and industry standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers and clients to set timelines and report progress.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and address issues.
• Maintain safety culture and manage project budgets and resources.
