Job summary

Dell Technologies in Chantilly, VA seeks a Lead Unified Communications Engineer for a Federal Customer to design, implement, and sustain voice and collaboration platforms in a secure environment. On-site 5 days per week; TS/SCI required.

You will lead integration, troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration with networks, field teams, and leadership to ensure secure, reliable communications supporting mission-critical operations.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting unified communications, VoIP, telephony, or collaboration environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer-support skills.
• Ability to work onsite in a secure environment and maintain access as required by the program.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support voice, telephony, conferencing, or collaboration platforms
• Troubleshoot service issues involving call quality, endpoints, connectivity, or platform configuration
• Support implementation, upgrades, and integration of communications solutions
• Maintain documentation, diagrams, operating procedures, and support records
• Coordinate with network, systems, and field teams on platform dependencies and changes
• Support user issues, service requests, and operational continuity activities
• Contribute to testing, validation, and service improvement efforts
• Help ensure secure, stable, and supportable communications capabilities
• Provide reports to relevant stakeholders and participate in leadership level design and engineering decisions
