Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Unified Communications Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise UC solutions across VoIP, video, and collaboration platforms. The role emphasizes security, scalability, and interoperability with existing network infrastructure.

Applicants should have a Top-Secret/SCI eligibility, 8+ years in UC/telecom, and CCNA or higher certifications. The position is on-site with travel expectations and a strong emphasis on documentation and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of telecom technical experience installing, administering and upgrading Cisco UC appliances.
• Experience with Cisco UC Manager, Cisco IM & Presence, Expressway, and SBCs.
• Knowledge of SIP signaling and Cisco call flows.
• Familiarity with DoD STIGs and security compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement UC solutions focusing on scalability, security, and performance.
• Install and configure UC systems including VoIP and video conferencing.
• Monitor performance, perform maintenance, and apply security patches.
