Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Underwriting Sr. Analyst to lead financial analysis and underwriting for PBM pricing strategies across multiple client segments.

You will influence pricing deployment, support enterprise profitability, and work with CVS Health finance leadership to optimize outcomes. The role requires deep experience in actuarial analysis within health plans, strong Excel skills, and the ability to translate data into actionable pricing recommendations.

Qualifications

• 3 years in a health plan actuarial role, PBM financial analysis or underwriting role, or comparable industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess risk and develop recommendations to maximize client value while retaining margin in PBM and Enterprise.
• Develop pricing recommendations for multiple lines of business based on in-depth competitive analysis.
• Assist leadership to develop pricing for downstream pricing by providing segment-specific data.
• Complete tasks in the Caremark Underwriting models and modify FAFs as needed.
• Provide ad hoc analysis to support internal and client requests.
• Build relationships with Sales, Account Management, and Health Plan partners to support margin budgets.
