Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Underwriting Sr. Analyst to lead financial analysis and underwriting for PBM pricing strategies across the CVS Health enterprise.

The role supports leadership with data-driven pricing, Caremark models, and downstream pricing decisions, delivering insights to improve financial outcomes. The candidate will work with internal teams, manage pricing projects, and advise on regulatory and contract scenarios, contributing to margin optimization and client value.

Qualifications

• 3 years in a health plan actuarial role, PBM financial analysis or underwriting role, or comparable industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess risk and develop recommendations to maximize client value while retaining margin in PBM and Enterprise.
• Develop pricing recommendations for multiple lines of business based on in-depth competitive analysis.
• Assist Aetna’s Underwriting leadership to develop pricing for downstream pricing with segment-specific data.
• Complete tasks in the Caremark Underwriting models.
• Modify FAFs to reflect pricing changes.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to support internal and client requests.
• Build and maintain relationships with Sales and Account Management.
