Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Underwriting Sr. Analyst to lead financial analysis and underwriting within PBM pricing strategies.

You will work with Finance leadership to drive value, support CVS Health and Finance leadership, and optimize pricing deployment across multiple business lines. The role requires a minimum of 3 years in a health plan actuarial or underwriting role, a bachelor’s degree, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 3 years in a health plan actuarial role, PBM financial analysis or underwriting role or comparable experience.
• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, finance, statistics, actuarial science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong Excel skills for financial modeling and pricing analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assess risk and develop recommendations to maximize client value while retaining margin in PBM and Enterprise.
• Develop pricing recommendations for multiple lines of business based on competitive analysis.
• Provide data to Aetna Underwriting leadership for downstream pricing.
• Complete tasks in Caremark Underwriting models and modify FAFs as needed.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to support internal and client requests.
• Maintain relationships with Sales, Account Management, Caremark and Aetna Finance partners.
