Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Underwriting Sr. Analyst to lead financial analysis and underwriting efforts across PBM and enterprise pricing strategies. You will influence pricing for multiple business lines and collaborate with underwriting leadership to deliver data-driven recommendations.

The role requires strong Excel skills and experience with Caremark models within a fast-paced environment. The position reports to the Sr.

Qualifications

3 years in a health plan actuarial role, PBM financial analysis or underwriting role, or comparable industry experience.
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, finance, statistics, actuarial science or related fields or equivalent experience.
Strong technical skills – particularly in Excel.

Responsibilities

Assess risk and develop recommendations to maximize client value while retaining margin in PBM and Enterprise.
Develop pricing recommendations for multiple lines of business based on in-depth competitive analysis.
Assist underwriting leadership to develop pricing for downstream pricing with segment-specific data.
Complete tasks in Caremark Underwriting models and modify FAFs as needed.
Provide ad hoc analysis to support internal and client requests.
Build and maintain relationships with Sales, Account Management, Caremark, and Aetna Finance partners.
Create Pricing Commitment Documents reflecting Caremark terms for each business segment.
Advise Caremark Legal during contract negotiations and analyze regulatory change scenarios.
