Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Underwriting Sr. Analyst to lead financial analysis and pricing strategies within the PBM/Enterprise context.

You will develop pricing for multiple lines of business, support leadership with data-driven insights, and influence contract terms with internal teams and Caremark/Aetna partners. The role emphasizes expert PBM economics, analytical rigor, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and client needs.

Qualifications

• 3 years in a health plan actuarial role, PBM financial analysis or underwriting role.
• Experience with PBM pricing models and Caremark systems is preferred.
• Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess risk and maximize client value while retaining margin in PBM and Enterprise.
• Develop pricing recommendations for multiple lines of business based on in-depth analysis.
• Assist Aetna Underwriting leadership to develop pricing for downstream pricing with segment data.
• Complete tasks in the Caremark Underwriting models and modify FAFs as needed.
• Ad hoc analysis to support internal and client requests.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Sales, Account Management, Caremark, and Aetna Finance partners.
• Create and update Pricing Commitment Documents reflecting pricing and contract terms.
• Advise Caremark Legal as underwriting SME during negotiations.
• Provide analysis and guidance on regulatory changes and implementation.
