Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of coverage forms, exclusions, and exposure.
• Pricing, structure, rating, loss forecasting, credit risk, and market awareness.
• Experience across construction programs including OCIP/CCIP and related operations.
• Strong collaboration, negotiating, and problem-solving abilities.
• At least 10 years of underwriting experience with brokers/agents.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert underwriting guidance across auto, GL, and workers' comp within Large Construction.
• Coordinate referrals and consultations with field underwriters and underwriting managers.
• Maintain alignment of primary casualty and excess placements across wrap-up programs.
• Support leaders on exposure, coverage analysis, and key pricing/financial decisions.
• Monitor decision frameworks and drive improvements in underwriting practices.
• Collaborate across teams (claims, actuarial, product) to drive excellence.
• Build relationships with brokers and reinsurance partners; participate in senior client meetings.
