Job summary

AXA XL is seeking an Underwriting Governance & Controls Senior Analyst for the Americas region. You will support governance operations, ensure timely, accurate management information, and drive consistency in controls across underwriting activities while coordinating with Risk Management, Internal Audit, and business unit leaders.

The role reports to the Governance Operations Manager and emphasizes governance, controls, and process improvements across regions and products.

• Work with Americas underwriting leaders to ensure effective governance and controls.
• Implement a sound control environment leveraging standard processes and technology.
• Coordinate with Americas CUO, Business Unit Heads and 2nd/3rd lines of defense to improve processes and controls across products and regions.
• Maintain the first line of defense framework to ensure compliance with underwriting governance and controls.
• Support compliance with UW controls across business units and regions.
• Coordinate scheduling for sick and vacation time and manage back-up staff as needed.
