Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Analyst, Executive Underwriting Priorities who will provide analytical and operational support to Caremark Underwriting leadership. You will investigate drivers of change in pricing and forecasting, validate data, and partner across stakeholders to enable informed decisions.

The role emphasizes Excel proficiency, handling large datasets, and building clear readouts for senior leaders in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. 40 hours weekly, full-time.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant analytics, finance, underwriting, forecasting, or related quantitative experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, complex formulas and structured modeling (INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivots).
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL concepts for data extraction and validation.

Responsibilities

• Research and issue resolution support with ad hoc requests and clear leadership readouts.
• Model output investigation and variance analysis across pricing and forecasting tools.
• Cross-functional coordination with data teams, finance, and subject matter experts.
• Build and maintain side analyses in Excel to validate assumptions and quantify impacts.
• Data handling and querying using relational data concepts and SQL.
• Documentation and knowledge management to improve repeatability.
• Prepare meeting briefs and capture action items for leadership decisions.
• Identify opportunities to streamline recurring requests and improve outputs.
