Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Analyst, Executive Underwriting Priorities to provide analytical and operational support to Caremark Underwriting leadership by researching, validating, and synthesizing information needed to resolve time-sensitive questions and enable informed decision-making.

This role is responsible for investigating drivers of change in pricing and forecasting outputs, identifying root causes of anomalies, and coordinating across internal stakeholders to obtain clarifications,

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant analytics/finance/underwriting experience or related quantitative discipline.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and structured modeling (INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivot tables).
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL concepts for data extraction and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Research & issue resolution support: respond to ad hoc requests with analyses and clear readouts for leadership.
• Model output investigation & variance analysis: explain changes in results and assess drivers and data shifts.
• Cross-functional coordination: collaborate with stakeholders across underwriting ecosystem to verify data lineage and interpretation.
