Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Underwriting Sr. Analyst to drive financial analysis and underwriting for PBM pricing strategies. You will support pricing deployment, advise on regulatory scenarios, and work with Caremark, Aetna, and enterprise teams to maximize margins and profitability.

You will develop expert knowledge in PBM economics and communicate findings with implemented recommendations, while collaborating with internal partners to ensure timely and accurate pricing solutions.

Qualifications

• 3 years in a health plan actuarial role or PBM underwriting or comparable experience.
• Experience with PBM pricing, Caremark underwriting models, and EOS is a plus.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess risk and maximize client value while retaining margin.
• Develop pricing recommendations for multiple lines of business.
• Assist Aetna’s Underwriting leadership with downstream pricing data.
• Complete tasks in Caremark Underwriting models.
• Modify FAFs as needed.
• Ad‑hoc analysis to support internal and client requests.
• Build relationships with Sales, Account Management, Caremark and Aetna Finance partners.
• Create and update Pricing Commitment Documents reflecting Caremark terms.
