Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Underwriting Sr. Analyst to drive financial analysis and pricing strategy within PBM underwriting. You will collaborate with Caremark and Aetna teams to optimize pricing across business lines and support enterprise profitability.

The role emphasizes analytic rigor, development of pricing models, and stakeholder communication to inform contracts and implementation while maintaining margin and delivering actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 3 years in a health plan actuarial role, PBM financial analysis or underwriting role, or comparable industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, finance, statistics, actuarial science or related fields.
• Strong Excel skills and analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess risk and develop recommendations to maximize client value while retaining margin in PBM and Enterprise.
• Develop pricing recommendations for multiple lines of business based on in-depth competitive analysis.
• Support Aetna Underwriting leadership to develop downstream pricing with segment data.
• Complete tasks in Caremark Underwriting models and modify FAFs as needed.
• Provide ad hoc分析 to support internal and client requests.
• Build and maintain relationships with Sales, Account Management, Caremark, and Aetna Finance partners.
