Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Underwriting Sr. Analyst to lead financial analysis and underwriting for PBM pricing strategies across the enterprise. You will support pricing deployments, build pricing documents, and advise on regulatory and client implementation scenarios.

The role emphasizes deep PBM/Health Plan economics knowledge and collaboration with Caremark and Aetna teams. You will work independently within a fast-paced environment to deliver data-driven insights, optimize pricing, and ensure

Qualifications

3 years in a health plan actuarial role, PBM financial analysis or underwriting role, or comparable industry experience.
Actuarial experience and actuarial certifications are a plus.
Strong technical skills, particularly in Excel, are preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess risk and develop recommendations to maximize client value while retaining margin first in the PBM and second in the Enterprise.
Develop pricing recommendations for multiple lines of business based on in-depth competitive analysis.
Assist Aetna’s Underwriting leadership to develop pricing for downstream pricing with data support.
Complete tasks in the Caremark Underwriting models and modify FAFs as needed.
Provide ad hoc analysis to support internal and client requests and maintain relationships with Sales and Account Management.
