Great American Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Underwriter to join its Specialty Human Services Division. This role supports the Pacific Northwest territory and is based out of the downtown Cincinnati office, with on-site four days a week and one remote day.

You will evaluate and underwrite new and renewal business, analyze risk data, collaborate with actuaries, agents and clients, and ensure compliance with regulations. Travel within the territory is occasional.

Formación

• 5+ years of underwriting experience or related field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Position requires occasional travel.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluates and underwrites new and renewal business in accordance with underwriting guidelines and risk appetite.
• Analyzes risk data to inform coverage, pricing, and terms.
• Collaborates with actuaries, agents, brokers, and clients to obtain information and clarify details.
• Orders and reviews reports to inform decisions (motor vehicle, loss history, outside inspections, etc.).
• Ensures documentation of underwriting decisions and compliance with regulations.
• Maintains relationships with internal and external customers to generate and retain business.
