Job summary

Berkley Management Protection in Wisconsin seeks an experienced Underwriter to manage renewal accounts and pricing for management liability lines, ensuring profitability and compliance with guidelines.

You will own the submission lifecycle, work closely with TMs, AVPs, and RVPs across regions, and contribute to a strong sales culture while delivering superior customer service to independent agents.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management liability underwriting or related experience.
• Experience contributing to a high performing marketing/sales team in a high growth environment.
• Advanced product knowledge within the Management Liability suite (D&O, Cyber, EPL, Crime, Fiduciary, MPL).
• Empathy and understanding of the needs of independent agents; advocate for customers.

Responsibilities

• Renewal accounts focusing on underwriting and pricing risks per business rules.
• Own the submission lifecycle: quoting, filing, binding, and issuing applications.
• Support best practices to ensure rating, pricing, profitability, and structuring adequacy.
• Assist underwriters with strategic initiatives, reports, training, and new projects.
• Engage with agency personnel to provide superior customer service.
• Collaborate with TMs, AVPs, and RVPs to establish a sales culture and onboarding workflow.
