Pathward is seeking an experienced loan underwriter to manage underwriting end-to-end, ensuring timely decisions and appropriate risk/return. You will coordinate with business development and clients, review packages, and guide deals through closing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience.
• 3+ years relevant experience.
• Strong business acumen and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite the full spectrum of lending products in a timely, efficient manner.
• Apply credit policies and minimum underwriting standards.
• Collaborate with Business Development Officers to provide credit perspective.
• Review and analyze new deal packages and conduct initial interviews.
• Order and review due diligence and documentation.
• Analyze financial statement spreads and cash flows.
• Review collateral and financial trends; visit prospect locations for larger deals.
• Prepare the credit narrative for approvals and oversee closing.
