Biz2Credit Inc. is seeking an experienced Underwriter for our NYC Office to evaluate loan applications and support the underwriting process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 3 or more years of underwriting or credit analysis experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

Responsibilities

• Review loan applications and documentation to determine eligibility and creditworthiness.
• Analyze financial statements, credit reports, tax returns, and other data to assess risk.
• Conduct due diligence and verify information provided by applicants.
• Perform full cycle underwriting for assigned small business financing.
• Collaborate with underwriting team to identify red flags and mitigate risk.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and underwriting guidelines.
