Job summary

Great American Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Underwriter/Account Manager to produce, underwrite and manage a profitable Fidelity/Crime book within a designated territory including Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, and other markets. You will evaluate submissions, set terms, price risk, and secure client relationships.

The role requires 5–10+ years in underwriting or related fields, a Bachelor's degree, and strong networking skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Insurance, Economics, Communications or other Business related fields.
• 5-10+ years of underwriting and/or insurance brokerage and/or business development experience, with fidelity/crime underwriting preferred.
• Proven track record of producing and managing a profitable book of underwriting business.
• Proven success in developing and maintaining a broad network of agency/brokerage relationships.
• Strong negotiation, verbal and written communication skills to drive opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite moderately to complex risks within authority.
• Manage and grow a profitable book of new and renewal business.
• Develop relationships with agents, insureds, and colleagues to drive opportunities.
• Execute territory marketing and business development strategies for growth.
