Great American Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Underwriter/Account Manager to produce, underwrite, and manage a profitable Fidelity/Crime book in designated territories. The role involves evaluating submissions, pricing, and risk selection while building strong agent and client relationships.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field and 5–10+ years of underwriting or related experience, with travel up to 30% of the time to visit producers and insureds.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Insurance, Economics, Communications or other Business related fields.
• 5-10+ years underwriting, insurance brokerage or business development experience preferred.
• Proven track record of producing and managing a profitable underwriting book.
• Strong network of agency/brokerage relationships.
• Excellent negotiation, verbal and written communication, and customer service skills.
• Well-organized with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% for producer visits.

Responsabilidades

• Underwrite moderately to complex risks by assessing submissions, exposures, terms, pricing, and profitability within authority.
• Manage and grow a book of new and renewal business for Fidelity/Crime.
• Develop relationships with agents, insureds, and internal teams to drive opportunities and retention.
• Execute territory marketing and business development strategies including agency visits.
• Analyze underwriting data to make informed recommendations and decisions.
• Maintain accurate account documentation and provide clear communication of underwriting decisions.
• Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines, rating methodologies, and regulations.
