Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Underwriter for a fully remote role in the United States. The successful candidate will assess and underwrite complex commercial insurance submissions, setting terms and pricing while ensuring alignment with regulatory guidelines and company strategy.

You will work autonomously from a home office, collaborating digitally with brokers, agents, and internal teams to drive profitable growth and provide mentorship to junior underwriters.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial insurance underwriting
• Strong knowledge of products, risk assessment, and financial analysis
• Ability to work remotely and autonomously
• Effective communication and negotiation with external partners and internal teams
• ACII or FLMI designations are desirable
